Peggy Wants It All!

Peggy White is the General Manager of Yahoo! Finance. David Worlock interviewed her at the SIIA Summit in New York.

Peggy wants to maintain Yahoo! Finance’s status with sophisticated investors while also gaining the attention and support of the less sophisticated and experienced personal finance user. 

Her goals include licensing content, creating original content, and incorporating user-generated content into Yahoo! 

According to Peggy, success depends on “touching the customer”, directing the audience to other channels, and being platform agnostic - supporting all types of content, relationships, and partners. 

She describes Yahoo! as a “highly matrixed organization” in which her responsibilities include product development, business development, and sales.
