Yesterday Liz Strauss and I went to the FOOA (Future of Online Advertising) Conference in the afternoon and the PaidContent.org New York Mixer in the evening.
It was quite a busy day.
We saw Chas Edwards of Federated media at FOOA and we met several people at the mixer.
PaidContent.org and Successful-Blog both covered some of the FOOA sessions.
I’m embarrassed to admit that up until last night I was confusing Ask.com with Answers.com and About.com. We met two people from Answers and I think I’ve got it straight now.
Gina from Answers.com told me about AnswerTips. “An AnswerTips-enabled page allows your visitors to access definitions and fast facts on millions of obscure words, personalities or slang.”
I thought we'd give it a try!
Double click on any word on any Manage To Change page and a small window
will open up giving you a definition (and its source).
There is no visual indication (other than the icon on my sidebar) that AnswerTips is working – just pick a word and see what happens.
Let me know what you think.
Thank you, it's very astounding information it might be very polite for students. For example last year when I had a difficult of time at the end of semester with a endless flow of academic assignments and mission, I had a admirable idea to buy it somewhere and than use plagiarism checker. I was so tired that I did not care for what can crop up when my academic work was written by other side person. To my admirable surprise, research paper was estimable the price I paid for it. I was so pleased with the quality and now everytime i use this service.

Terry - I didn't realize that! We'll definitely give you a shout the next time. We did so much in such a short time that my head is still spinning!

Gosh, you and Liz come to the NY area when I'm out of town! :-( (I'm in Colorado this weekend). Next time let me know - I'm 40 minutes from Manhattan and would love to hook up. Have fun in NY!
